After spending hours cutting the stickers into the right shapes and applying them to the USB's I was actually quite impressed with the way they turned out, I thought they looked quite professional and the 5 designs matched each other quite well. After finishing those I began to develop the packaging for the devices. Because of how much the flashdrives cost me I was limited with the amount of money I could spend on materials to make them. I decided to directly link the packaging in quite a literal way to the installation. Using the material we used for the installation I recycled the wood to create a one of a kind package that not only showed the recycled nature of the installation but showed the value of the packaging because of its unique nature. Though the exterior of the box is relatively rough and recycled the interior was made to be quite fancy and valuable reflecting the valuable nature of the packaging as well as the audio as they were both "Limited Edition" creations. Because of the scarcity of the material I could use I could only make one of the boxes to house the USB's but overall I feel like I have created quite a neat way of representing everything in the project.
Below are some of the initial sketches of the lid and box designs.
