After forking out a bit to get 5 USB's delivered to me, I began to think of the best way to design onto them. because I didnt have the physical devices it was a little difficult to design to fit the shapes, so I decided to go ahead and design onto some fairly standard shaped usb designs. The designs were intended to represent the installation in a somewhat artistic way but also to made slightly rough and sketchy at points as well. Below are some of the tests I did for the polystyrene themed design as well as a developed wrapping paper design I recreated.
