YOUTHEDESIGNER - Concepts

My early concepts were based around the ideas of sustainability so I decided to look at using re-writable audio devices, either CD's, DVD's or USB's. The main seller being the fact that they could be re-used and recycled for  whatever purpose intended. It also added more value to the item which modern CD's are lacking, there is actually very little incentive to buy audio any more, most people are using portable mp3 players and getting music straight onto their computers is far more convenient for them rather than having to use CD's to upload to their computer before their device. I decided to use the USB concept partially because I spent all of highschool designing onto CD's and I wanted to do something different, but most importantly because of its portable nature as well as containing a different sense of value than that of the other discs.
